This declaration, developed by members of the Global Solidarity Alliance for Food, Health and Social Justice (GSA) is a reflection of our group's values. Signing onto this form will add your name/organization and location to the Global Map of our allies. You may elect to sign on as an organization, as an individual, or simply sign-up to receive our announcements and newsletters.

The Global Solidarity Alliance for Food, Health and Social Justice advocates for income protection, social security, and an unconditional Right to Food. Corporate-backed surplus food and charitable food donations are no substitute for fair wages and strong social policies.
State guarantees of the Right to Food - that food is available, accessible, and adequate within social, health, environmental, and cultural parameters for all - are essential to ending vulnerability to hunger and inadequate emergency charitable food aid responses. We need laws and policies that foster dignity and food democracy to tackle food insecurity, poverty and inequality at their roots.
